Ms. Thorne's second graders studied the math of pumpkins this morning, making predictions about weight, circumference, # of seeds, and ... does a pumpkin float? (Answer: Yes!) Then came the work of weighing, measuring, counting seeds, etc. It's a great Halloween science project that second graders do every year!
