Our preschoolers hosted the MN Zoomobile today. The Zoo's naturalist, Kevin, brought a tortoise (no pictures of him ...), a millipede, a possum, a male red-tailed hawk, and a hog-nosed snake (or something similar!). Our students were so respectful and curious -- they had so many good questions. We all learned a lot!

At the very end, everyone was given the opportunity to touch a hawk feather and the snake's back. We decided the snake felt a bit like a basketball. Again, everyone was so respectful and gentle.
