Our traditional Day of Remembrance Chapel for November took on a decidedly Latin aspect at Breck, with performances by a mariachi band, prayers in both Spanish and English, and a slide show of Day of the Dead observances in Oaxaca, Mexico, narrated by Upper School English teacher Memry Roessler. Middle School Spanish instructor Oscar Diaz, who was born in Mexico, also spoke about his family's celebration of the holiday.

In addition, Breck welcomed families of Breck faculty members who died while they were employed at the school and dedicated a fountain memorial to Liam Taaffe, Dena Randolph, Rosie Wells, Brad Randall, Josie Rabary-Njaka, Marki Talle and Patti Soderberg.
