Tom Turkey was in the house today, along with his driver Farmer Nelson. Tom is a large domestic turkey, and has all those unusually named turkey parts: caruncles, snood, ears w/o ear lobes, wings (but he can't fly), and a beard. His feathers were softer than we thought, and his caruncles were HOT! You can see that his caruncles changed color from bright red to white as his visit continued. Most everyone touched Tom at the end of the presentation. Farmer Nelson said we were VERY well behaved!
