Our entire school stopped what they were doing this afternoon and paired up to read "Be A King," by Carole Boston Weatherford — a book about Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s dream. We read to prepare for the upcoming MLK Day celebrations next Tuesday-Wednesday at Breck. It was wonderful to watch seniors with their first-grade buddies, sixth graders with preschoolers ... it was a magical 30 minutes.
