Ms. Thorne's second-grade students celebrated the final day of Hanukkah by eating latkes (with and without applesauce), lighting the menorah, playing the dreidl game, and creating glittery Star of David sculptures. They had a little help with saying the prayers from a visiting grandma and dad. Not much help was needed, though!
