In today's All-School Chapel, we heard from several of our Jewish students and learned about the Jewish New Year, Rosh Hashanah. One of our students demonstrated blowing the shafar with the corresponding prayers. Then Ms. Gentry (US Math) talked about this year's Chapel theme, finding the center, and related it to math and patterns — patterns found in nature — and their relation to the Fibonacci sequence.
