On the Friday before the holiday break, the sixth grade gathered in the Fieldhouse and played "Minute to Win It," which involved moving from activity to activity as a team. The activities included hooking a candy cane with a candy cane and dropping it in a cup, fanning an ornament into a tape square, balancing ornaments (as a team) on the ends of a meter stick, moving a gingerbread cookie from your forehead into your mouth using only your facial muscles -- all these activities are WAY more difficult than they sound or look. But really fun!
