Our second-grade mathematicians were assigned a difficult subject to examine today: pumpkins. They first made predictions on circumference, weight, # of ribs, # of seeds, will it float? (Yes — most pumpkins to float.) And then they did the math: weighing, measuring, counting, and floating. Such a fun math project!
