Ms. Yoon's seventh graders were identifying trees on the Breck campus on this beautiful fall afternoon! Some of the identifying factors included shape of the leaf and leaf edge (smooth or jagged?). Is the tree deciduous or coniferous? There was a guide that helped determine the type of tree — you get the idea. Such great, hands-on science work!
