Jenny Bennett's first graders worked hard on their writing workshop project this afternoon. Ms. Bennett and first-grade assistant Katie Schneider worked with students on their stories and how best to get the story in writing. Topics included correct chronology of events, getting the appropriate text to match the illustration, etc. I think there was an appreciation for how hard it is to write a book.
