A group of eighth graders work with our kindergarten students once a month, charting growth, learning about the human body — what we call biobuddies. Today's project was learning about the lungs, esophagus, oxygenation of the blood, etc. They worked together to create an external model of the lungs and stomach, complete with straws to inflate the lungs!
