The Golden Valley Fire Department talked to our preschool and kindergarten students yesterday afternoon — and Sparky the Firedog came along, too! Sparky demonstrated many of the important things to remember if you think there might be a fire in your home: check the door with the back of your hand, look for two exits out of your home, and the all important stop-drop-and-roll. And she's a GREAT hugger! Such a smart dog!
