Three birds from the MN Raptor Center visited our preschoolers last week. We saw a peregrine falcon, a great horned owl, and — the fastest creature on Earth — the American kestrel! All of these birds are carnivores but differ on exactly what they eat. And yes, the owl was fed a (dead) mouse, so beware of those photos in this gallery. We all learned a lot!
